Stormbill uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. We keep the list short on purpose: this site does not run cross-site advertising trackers.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They let a site remember things like your session or your preferences. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some conveniences (like staying signed in) may not.

2. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

• Session & security cookies — keep you signed in during checkout and protect forms against abuse. Without these, checkout cannot function.
• Load-balancing cookies — set by our hosting provider (Vercel) to route your requests reliably.

Functional

• Preference cookies — remember choices like a dismissed banner. Set only after you make the choice.

Analytics (aggregated, privacy-respecting)

• First-party analytics — we measure which pages are visited and where the funnel drops off, in aggregate. This data is never tied to your Report inputs, never sold, and never used for advertising.

3. What we do NOT use

• No third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
• No social-media tracking pixels embedded in the Report.
• No sale of cookie-derived data — see our Privacy Policy.

4. Payment pages

Checkout runs on Stripe-hosted pages, which set their own strictly-necessary cookies to process your payment securely. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

5. Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser: block all cookies, block third-party cookies, or delete existing ones. Instructions are in your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Note that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent checkout from working.

6. Changes

If we add a new category of cookies, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
