These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and HDC Brands LLC("Stormbill," "we," "us"), operating the stormbill service at stormbill.com (the "Service"). By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Stormbill sells a one-time digital product: a personalized Storm Resilience & Insurance-Savings Dossier (the "Report") generated from public records, state-published wind-mitigation scoring logic, and information you provide. The Report is educational analytics.
Stormbill is not a licensed insurance agency, agent, broker, or adjuster. Stormbill does not sell insurance, quote premiums, recommend carriers, perform physical inspections, file claims, or recommend contractors. Nothing on this site or in any Report is insurance, financial, or legal advice. Always confirm savings and coverage decisions with your licensed insurance agent.
Stormbill is not affiliated with the State of Florida, the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, or the My Safe Florida Home program. References to state programs describe publicly available program rules; verify current eligibility at mysafeflhome.com.
Every savings figure in a Report or on this site is an illustrative estimate modeled from publicly published discount tables (including the OIR-B1-1802 wind-mitigation scoring logic) multiplied by public home attributes and your answers. Carriers apply their own filed rating plans, so your actual premium and credits will differ. Estimates are presented as ranges, not promises, and are labeled as illustrative wherever they appear. The Resilience Score is a methodology score, not a carrier rating. You agree not to treat any estimate as a quote, guarantee, or representation of future savings.
Reports are generated automatically and delivered by email and in your account, typically within two minutes of payment. You must provide a Florida address; out-of-state addresses are not eligible for a Report and will be offered the waitlist instead.
You agree to provide accurate information (address, home age, roof year, and the other inputs we ask for). The Report's accuracy depends on your inputs; Stormbill is not responsible for estimates derived from information you provide incorrectly. You must be at least 18 years old to purchase.
Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) at checkout on your own secure page. Prices are in U.S. dollars, one-time, exclusive of any applicable taxes. By purchasing, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method. We do not store full payment-card numbers on our servers.
Because the Report is a digital product generated and delivered instantly, all sales are final once the Report has been generated — there are no refunds after delivery for change of mind or because modeled savings differ from a carrier's actual quote, since every figure is sold and labeled as an illustrative estimate, not a guarantee.
Exceptions: if your Report fails to generate, is not delivered, or is materially defective (for example, generated for the wrong address due to our error), contact us within 30 days at support@stormbill.com and we will re-run the Report or refund the purchase, at our discretion. Partner Pack credits that have not been used for any Report may be refunded within 30 days of purchase.
The Service, including the Report design, scoring methodology documentation, text, graphics, and logo, is owned by HDC Brands LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use your Report for your own homeownership decisions — including sharing it with your insurance agent, appraiser, or contractor. You may not resell, redistribute, or publish Reports (except Partner Pack co-branded Reports used in the ordinary course of the partner's business), nor reverse-engineer the scoring engine.
You agree not to misuse the Service: no scraping or bulk extraction, no attempts to access other users' Reports, no uploading of unlawful content, and no use of the Service to generate Reports for addresses you have no legitimate interest in. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
THE SERVICE AND ALL REPORTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that estimates will match any carrier's determination. Public records and program rules change; we update our models on a best-efforts basis but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HDC BRANDS LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST SAVINGS OR INCREASED PREMIUMS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY REPORT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE REPORT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), Chapter 501, Florida Statutes. Because the Report is delivered electronically immediately upon purchase, the federal and Florida cooling-off rules for door-to-door/home-solicitation sales do not apply; the refund policy in Section 6 governs instead.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation via support@stormbill.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis (no class actions) under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, seated in Florida, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual-property claims.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
